From “I should read” to opening the book
Give reading a small place in your day.
A few minutes on the train. A chapter before bed. Burrow keeps a record of the time you make, so you can begin with a routine that fits your life.
- 01
Name your activity Reading.
Choose a color and a symbol. Add a daily, weekly or monthly time goal if you want one. Your reading activity can be as simple as its name.
- 02
Tap when you open your book.
The timer counts up while you read. Pause when you need to, then finish when you put the book down. Forgot to start? Add the time by hand.
- 03
Keep one thought.
Leave a note or a rating at the end. A sentence about the chapter is enough. Burrow saves it with the session, ready to find in History.
Your reading, over time
The minutes add up.
See your Reading sessions together: today’s time, progress toward a goal, and the sessions that came before it.
- One place for your sessionsHistory keeps the time and reflection together. Come back to the thought you left after a chapter.
- A goal in your own unitsA time goal gives you something small to work toward. Choose a daily, weekly or monthly rhythm.
- Space for the rest of your lifeUse other activities for studying, guitar or a language. Your reading routine can sit alongside the other things you care about.
Example screens show sample sessions. Your own record builds as you use Burrow.

A reading routine, one session at a time.
A thought worth keeping
Remember more than the minutes.
Rename your note question to something you actually want to answer. Try “What stayed with me?” or “Where did I leave off?”
- What happened in this chapter?
- What idea do I want to come back to?
- What should I pick up next time?
A note and a 1–5 rating are included to start. Burrow Pro adds every question type and template, including a number question for pages read and tags for a book title.
Explore reflections
Number questions are included with Burrow Pro.
A good place to begin

A few things you might wonder
Reading with Burrow.
Can I use it for audiobooks?
Yes. Create a Listening activity, or use Reading for all your book time. Tap to start when you begin listening and finish when you stop. Burrow records the time you track; it does not connect to your audiobook player.
Can I track pages as well as time?
Yes. Time is recorded by the timer. With Burrow Pro, add a number reflection question such as “How many pages?” and answer it after a session. You can also include a page number in your note.
Does it keep a library of my books?
Burrow organizes your time by activity. Use notes to remember a title and where you left off; Pro also includes tag questions. The focus is your reading routine and reflections rather than a searchable book catalog.
Can I try it without paying?
Yes. Burrow starts with up to three activities, the timer, a rating and a note, History and smart nudges. Pro adds unlimited activities, every reflection question type and template, and deeper charts and insights. See the feature overview.
When will Burrow be available?
Burrow is coming soon to the App Store for iPhone, with iOS 17 or later. There is no account to create.
